Handal, Lily R. (nee Masrieh Hasbun), age 86 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on August 16, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Shafiq D. Handal (2013). Loving mother of Doris A. Kotsis and her husband James, Diane M. Civitello and her husband Kevin, Susan H. Eaton and her husband Craig, Robert D. Handal and his wife Juliet and Richard J. Handal and his wife Ilene. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three siblings. She was predeceased by four of her siblings.

 

Born in Bethlehem, she came to the United States in 1958 and resided in Brooklyn, NY until 1989, before moving to Totowa. She was the owner of Iceberg Army Navy Overseas Supplies, Manhattan for many years before retiring in 2000. She was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
